| Abstract: | This paper briefs the problem of tube breaks of closed cooling water exchanger caused by vibrations at Shantou Power Plant of Huaneng Power Group, and discusses the retrofit by the application of the technology of the new -type rod baffle heat exchanger that has solved the problems successfully. Based upon the operation and test results, this new-type exchanger has proved its function of eliminating the vibration and improving efficiency. |
