“入世”对中国电信业意味着什么

“入世”后，我国将按照WTO相关文件的原则精神，承担应该承担的义务，并按照时间表来覆行在不同电信业务领域作出的承诺；同时，也将会依据规则对国内电信业进行适当的保护。当前应加快制定“电信法”和其他配套法律，改革电信业的运营和管理体制，组建商业化的电信运营集团跨国经营；未来还须注意市场开放要适度，在不同的地区进行不同的试点等。

What Does WTO Entry Mean to Chinese Telecom Industry?

After WTO entry, China will abide by WTO principle, commit the obligations and implement the commitments in various telecom fields according to the timetable. Meanwhile, China will also protect domestic telecom industry appropriately in line with rules of WTO. Currently, we should speed up enacting telecommunication act and other auxiliary regulations, reform operation and management system, and construct commercial multinational telecom operating groups. Finally, we should open up the market in appropriate measure and carry out different trials in different areas.
