Abstract:A solution for cutting complex surface is introduced.It adopts the conception of modular,employs CAD/CAM technology,high speed NC cutting technique and the new tools.This solution makes the processing of complex surface a simple,high-efficiency manufacturing flow.The solution proposed describes the complicated surface by using its characteristic features,including: maximum projection face,minimum recess radius and cavity depth,based on which the complex surface is desecrated and transformed into manufacturable divisions.Each division is composed by coordinate planes,flat surfaces and steep surfaces,and it can be further desecrated into final cutting layers.At the same time,the evenly distributed high-speed cutting route and NC program can be generated automatically.It should be noted that this solution is suitable for the manufacturing of large part samples and prototypes.
