| Abstract: | By analysis on the sample of the refractory taken from various portions of the hot blast stoves of No.5 BF of WISCO used in 16 year campaign.The real conditions of the damages of the refractory are verified and causes to the damages determined and furthermore recommendations for improvement in the structure and properties of the refractory materials used in the hot blast stoves are put forward. |
