摘    要:概括当今火花加工的新的成果及其发展方向,即电火花加工的高速度、高精度和自动化,介绍了电火花加工中的控制技术、机床本体脉冲电源和加工工艺等。

Abstract:Electrical discharge machining( EDM) is an important technology in the field of modern manufacture engineering. At present,EDM is applied popularly all over the world for its merits as follows:simple electrode and small macro-force between the electrode and the workpiece.In the basis of a large number of references and the status of the EDM research in China,this paper summarizes the present progress and the future development of EDM at home and abroad,such as ultra precision,high speed and automation.In addition,this paper describes the primary parts of EDM as follows: control technology,EDM mechanism,pulse generator and machining technology.
