The Curriculum Construction and Teaching Reform on Material Engineering Foundation

＂Material Engineering Foundation＂ is a professional basic course of material specialty, and a curriculum that discusses basic theory in the process of inorganic material manufacturing and processing. The course has strong theoretical property with great difficulty. The concept is abstract and the mathe- matical equations are complex, but it is close to engineering practice at the same time. This paper expounds the idea of curriculum construction from the aspects of teaching contents, teaching means, evalu- ation mode, experiment teaching and so on, which stimulates learning interest of the students and improves resolution ability and innovation ability of the students to solve practical production problems.
