| Abstract: | The extant temples and monasteries are main types and groups of architectural heritage in Shanxi and they have great historical, artistic and sciemifie value. The article analyzes the importance, particularity and urgency of protection and research of these kinds of group architectures, and illustrates the significance of research into traditional architectures in Shanxi temples and monasteries. |
