CW Nd: YAG激光器中Cr~(4 ): YAG被动调Q的实验研究

摘    要:对Cr4+YAG被动调QCWNdYAG激光器的重复频率和脉冲宽度与输出功率的关系作了系统的实验研究。用Cr4+YAG作为可饱和吸收体在CWNdYAG激光器中获得了重复频率为2.2~10kHz,脉宽为120~900ns的稳定的调Q序列脉冲输出。不同初始透过率的Cr4+YAGQ开关对应不同范围的重复频率和脉宽。观察到了调Q脉冲包络中的调制现象并给出了合理的解释。

Abstract:An experimental study on the relation between repetition rate, pulse width and average output power of a CW pumped Nd:YAG laser Q switched by a Cr 4+ :YAG absorber was carried out. Stable Q switched pulses with duration of 120 ̄900 ns wide (FWHM) and repetition rates between 2.2 and 10 kHz were obtained by using different absorbers of different initial transmissions. Modulation in the Q switched envelope was found and an explanation was given.
