Research on interactive surfaces and relevant technologies

Interactive surfaces （Tabletops） have become one of the key research issues in the field of human-computer interaction. This paper presents an in-depth survey of Tabletop systems and relevant techniques. Based on the analysis of hardware platform and interaction technologies, this research discusses the future development of Tabletop and suggests corresponding research aspects. It especially analyzes physical simulation and space interaction that enrich natural user interaction. Outcomes of this research inform the design and evaluation of interactive surfaces, meanwhile providing valuable insights for relevant research fields such as ubiquitous computing and natural user interface.
