| Abstract: | The poetry principle work Shi shi written by Jiao Ran, a poet and monk in mid-Tang Dynasty, is based on Confucianism. It starts from the Confucianism to the Buddhist philosophy and also attempts to promote the Buddhist philosophy through Confucianism. The poetry principle Shi shi embodies the ferment and promotion between the Confucian's Golden Mean and the Buddhism' Happy Medium. |
