Beauty of Antique Local-style Dwelling House Space in Huizhou

This paper explores the beauty such as integral order and harmony with the environment in ancient Huizhou civilian buildings from the exterior space perspective .It also analyses some interior space features with regard to their structure style, plane layout, courtyard and carving decoration. It points out how the Chinese traditional aesthetics is embodied in such dwelling Houses.
