Abstract:Under the scenario with high real-time requirements, the application of space vector pulse width modulation(SVPWM) of the conventional VIENNA rectifier is limited due to the large amount of computation load and complexity. To solve this problem, a mathematical optimization method which can directly realize the SVPWM of the VIENNA rectifier is proposed in this paper. First, according to the mathematical model of VIENNA rectifier and the constraint conditions for pulse width modulation, a new combination function and an interval partition criterion for judging intervals are defined, and an optimization algorithm is put forward, according to which the modulation formula is given. Then, the midpoint voltage balance algorithm is redesigned. Finally, through PSIM simulations and a DSP experiment, the comparison of modulation effect between the conventional and proposed methods was performed, which verified the feasibility of the proposed optimal modulation algorithm.
