Abstract:During the operation of power grid, it is easy to be disturbed by harmonics, resulting in voltage distortion and excessive network loss. In this paper, an optimal control method for grid power quality with a harmonic suppression function is proposed to optimize the grid power quality while effectively suppressing the harmonic interference. Under the hierarchical control strategy, the primary control uses the multi-objective voltage and reactive power harmonic optimization algorithm to obtain the voltage difference data, voltage instability data, network damage rate data, and harmonic data of power grid to optimize the voltage output from power grid. At the same time, the composite current harmonic compensation is suppressed by using a fuzzy PI controller. The secondary control feeds back the output voltage and frequency of power grid to the primary control, so that the power output is balanced again. Moreover, the secondary control uses a harmonic compensator to compensate the harmonic of power grid, thus achieving the optimal control of grid power quality. Experimental results show that this method can effectively restrain the current distortion rate of power grid, improve the output active power and reduce the reactive power, thereby achieving the optimal control of grid power quality.
