Based on several kinds of modularized drilling rigs,the development level and status quo of the modularized drilling rig home and abroad are elaborated,and the offshore modularized drilling rig is introduced briefly. And the development trend of the modularized drilling rig is analyzed. It will develop towards higher modularization,automation and intelligentization. The AC variable frequency electric-driven drilling rig will become the replaced product for inland and offshore use. And the use of disc brake and top drive drilling system makes the safety coefficient of drilling improved greatly. In addition,the full-hydraulic movable modularized drilling rig has obvious advantage,which will be developed greatly.
