高阻抗电磁表面对贴片天线性能的影响

摘    要:研究了高阻抗表面对矩形贴片天线及贴片天线阵列性能的影响.结果表明: 当高阻抗表面的金属盘与贴片天线形状相同、大小接近时,二者在天线的工作频率上发生谐振,可以大大增加天线的增益,本文中单贴片天线和双贴片天线阵列的增益分别增加了5.2 dB、4.5 dB.对于阵列天线,还可以利用高阻抗表面来抑制第一副瓣电平.理论模拟与实验结果基本一致.

Abstract:In this paper, patch antenna and antenna array embedded on a high-impedance ground plane is studied. When the metal plate of high impedance surface has the same shape and almost equal dimension with the patch antenna, the gain of patch antenna or antenna array can increase largely due to the resonant effect. For the antenna and antenna array mentioned in this paper, their gains increase 5.2 dB and 4.5 dB respectively. Especially, the first side-lobe level of antenna array can be suppressed largely, but the cross-polarizations become worse. Basic agreement between the simulation and the experiment results was obtained.
