| Abstract: | Development of waste heat recovery technique for sulphur burning sulphuric acid plants in China is traced with the emphasis on system configuration and equipment selection For high level heat recovery, the boiler of fire tube type is preferable to one of water tube type. Purchasing complexed equipment can increase the flexibility of waste heat recovery system and lower total capital cost. |
