域间路由连通不完全性分析

摘    要:论文从应用需求的角度出发,研究了分布式应用系统与网络层端到端连接性之间的关系,认为分布式系统的模型和部署应独立于网络层端到端连接。指出目前Internet域间路由中AS之间路由策略独立定义和实施对这种独立性带来了不利影响,它导致Internet跨域的端到端连接是连通不完全的。并试图提出初步的解决思路和方案。

Abstract:Along with the significant growth of internet routing fabic,there are lots of studies focusing on routing convergence and converging stability,on measurement of inter-domain route,as well as routing policy.This paper,from the view of application requirement,discusses the relationship between distributed application and end-to-end connectivity of network layer.For flexible deployment of application system and accommodating more complicated computing model, distributed system,specially its computing model and deployment,should be independent on end-to-end connectivity of network layer.However,this independency is corrupted at present by inter-domain routing,in which routing policies among AS are defined and enforced independently.This paper details that end-to-end connectivity of internet is incomplete,namely dissymmetrical and non-transitive.Attempting to solve the problem,some initial solutions are presented at the end of the paper.
