Abstract:Emission tests were implemented to two light-duty diesels equipped with DOC + DPF and DOC + POC after-treatment systems, respectively. Under both conditions of with and without after-treatment system, conven- tional and inconventional emission pollutants and full-load smoke were detected and analyzed. Test results showed, DOC + DPF have a better reduction effect than DOC + POC to conventional emission, but may result in increasing of NO2 emission; both of the after-treatment systems can reduce SO2 emission; both of them can im- prove full-load smoke level of the engine at high speed and were influenced little by the grade of fuel.
