钢琴余音的存在及其作用

摘    要:提出了钢琴余音的概念,对几种不同型号的钢琴测量了其余音时间的长短,讨论了影响钢琴余音时间的因素。指出钢琴余音的存在是由阻尼振动决定的,余音时间的长短与一系列因素有关。在实际使用时,人们感受到的余音时间跟听音室的混响时间也有关。从而得出了下列结论:钢琴余音的存在是必然的,也是必须的。在钢琴投入使用之前,必须鉴别余音时间是否正常并将不正常的值调至合理的范围内。

Abstract:In this paper, concepts of residual sound of a piano and residual sound time are proposed, the duration time of residual sound for several pianos of different type are measured and the factors affecting the residual sound of a piano are discussed. It is pointed out that the existence of residual sound of a piano is mainly determined by damp vibration of the string. The duration time is related to a series of factors. When a piano is played, the practical duration time felt by people is related to the reverberation time of the listening room too. Conclusions are obtained as follows: The existence of residual sound of a piano is inevitable and necessary. Before a piano is put into use, Its residual sound time needs to be appraised and it should be adjusted to rational range if it is abnormal.
