Management of sexuality in a mental health setting

Clients with long term mental health problems can be particularly vulnerable to sexually transmitted diseases, but nurses and other staff find it difficult to address the issues of sex and sexuality. More training courses would help to address this, but the attitudes of health professionals to these issues also need to be examined.
