| Abstract: | A study on transfering, expanding and testing current findings about prewetting as regards compact and airjet yarns in ITV Denkendorf is described. The results of compact and ring yarns are compared. Economic advantages and cost saving of the prewetting technolgy for compact and Vortex yarns result from the reduced consumption of sizing agents and the reduction of abrasion-relevant problems during weaving. |
