| Abstract: | Since the fluid in most of the refinery process pipelines is flammable hydrocarbons, the corrosion failure of the pipeline can easily cause fire emergency. 4 corrosion failure cases ( some were the results of inappropriate selection of materials and some were the outcome of misusing welding materials) were introduced and the principles of material selection for refinery operation were discussed. |
