| Abstract: | Firstly, the article introduces the general information and functional distribution of Berlin Central Railway Station, then, with elaborations on its architectural design and comprehensive functionalities and its nature as a public space, highlights the Station＇surban role played in the city. Secondly, it addresses the problems caused by an unauthorized change of the architect＇s original design during construction. Finally, it analyzes the differences between railway buildings in China and Germany, disclosing the different natures of the rail traffic complex in different areas. |
