The paper introduces the design of the Wushu Competition Hall for 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games - Nansha Gymnasium.The features of the modem big sports venues design are reflected in its site plan,form design,multi-function design and post-game usage.The paper makes an effort to absorb and merge both traditional Chinese culture and local Cantonese culture in the sports facility design process in order to create the vernacular Asian sports venues.
