九江长江江堤堵口实录及经验

１９９８年８月７日，江西九江长江大堤发生溃口，震惊全国。在党中央，国务院的直接领导下，经２万４千名解放军战士，武警官兵和九江市人民的特殊死拼搏，仅用５天便完成堵口工程，极大地鼓舞了全国人民。堵口实施方案分截流，堵口、闭气３个阶段进行；按沉船，截流，堵口、后戗加因，抛土闭气５步实施，终于取得了成功，不仅减少了巨大的淹没损伤，确保了九江市的安全，也为我国的截流与堵口技术的发展，提供了极其宝贵的理论与实

Emergency closure of dike breach at Jiujiang reach of Yangtze River

On AugUst 7 , 1998, the dike breach occurred at the Changjiang levee in Jiujiang City, Jibe Province,shocking the whole country. Under the direct leadership of the Party Centre and the State Council, with a life-and-deathstrugle of 24 thousand fighters of the Chinese People's libelation Army, the Chinese People's Armed Police and the JiujiangtoWnspeople, the emeopncy closure of the dike breach was completed o4 for 5 days, gnatly inspiring the People of thewhole counts. The dike breach closure scheme includes three stages, i. e. the flow intercepting, the breach blocking up andthe leakage stoppage, and the executive operation is subdivided into 5 steps, i. e. the ship sinking, the flow intercepting,the breach blocking up, the berm strenglhening and foe leakage stoppage. With these, the emempncy closure of foe dikebreach was successfully completed, not o4 greatly reducing foe inundated losses and ensuring the safety of a Jiujiang City,but also providing very valuable experiences for the development of technology of the river & dike breach closure in China.
