The paper discusses the influence of the membrane pollution on the operation of the Membrane Bioreactors, indicates the shocks on the Membrane Bioreactors caused by the membrane pollution, the process of the membrane pollution and its types, and illustrates by the analysis that the influential factors of the membrane pollution mainly include the features of the membrane, the active sludge intermixture and the operation condition of the membrane components, and the latter two factors are more important.
