摘    要:主要通过岩石室内试验,分析子了冻结融解作用对岩石物理力学性质的影响以及岩石裂缝发展的规律,同时结合边坡的破坏事例调查成果,结论认为表层崩塌的破坏模式是岩石边坡长期冻结融解作用的主要表现形式。

Study on influence of rock slope failures by freezing and thawing action
Abstract:The study investigated physical and mechanical properties as well as crack development of welded tuff by freezing and thawing cycles. Experimental results indicated that the mass loss and porosity of rock increased, in the meantime, P wave velocity, uniaxial compressive strength and tensile strength decreased. The initial cracks were produced in the surface layer and then developed to the inside of the specimen. According to the investigation reports of rock slope failure in Hokkaido, weathering of a rock mass, and opening and development of cracks are hastened by repeated freezing and thawing action. As a direct cause, freezing and thawing affects the stability of a rock slope only to a certain limit. The failure of surface layer is a main mode of rock slope by freezing and thawing action.
