| Abstract: | With plane transient heat source's solution,this paper analyzes the transient temperature field in a gear tooth induced by laser beam. And the formula used to fast evaluate the gear case depth is presented. The problem of gear back-temper of laser beam hardening is also discussed in the paper. |
