| Abstract: | Some important aspects of customer premise network(CPN) in next generation cable digital TV are introduced, including the network structure, the configurations of physical and data link layer and the simulation modeling. Based on the analysis of simulation results, it is believed that by using star topology and ethernet switches as its core devices, the network can well transmit the information of HDTV, IP phone and web page. |
