| Abstract: | Statistical methods intended for the analysis of time series are shown to be applicable for forecasting the residual service life of sectional electric connectors. The electric resistance of a contact is selected to be the determining parameter. The forecast results are compared with the experimentally observed time variation of contact resistance. |
