| Abstract: | Anchors aweigh! The synthesis of tryptophan–amphotericin B conjugates (see figure) is described. The membrane‐anchoring effect of tryptophane was thus combined with the pore‐formation effect of amphotericin B leading to high channel activity in sterol‐free liposomes.  |
