| Abstract: | This paper simulates the inner thermal environment and calculates the air-conditioning energy consumption in the typical residential buildings in Guangzhou by DeST software package according to the special climate. It also analyses quantitatively the relationship between the direction and shade of the windows and the thermal environment as well as air-conditioning energy consumpiton in residential buildings. |
