| Abstract: | Four different methods for sampling and preparation of low carbon steel test pieces are described and influences of those methods on the results of examination discussed as well. A typical thin and thick test piece sampling device for the extra low carbon steel has been successfully developed and used in the production as a substitute for the imported one. |
