尚俭是古代中国人最重要的建筑原则之一,为实现自我完善,最终达到人伦至善、天人合一的目标,古代中国人将建筑中的＂尚俭＂原则与＂止于至善＂的人伦标准联系在一起,成为古代中国人率性修道的重要内容。本文通过从建筑形而上及其思想内涵的角度对中国人这一建筑理念的诉求加以阐述。

Exploring Ihrifty Idea of the Architecture Idea in Traditional China

Thrifty idea is one of the ancient Chinese most important principles of architecture.The ancient Chinese believed that a man of honour should always pay attention on his own self-improvement.The character of a building is a reflection of the character of a man of honour.So the ancient Chinese believed that the architectural principle of＂thrifty＂is connected with the highest standard of human beings,the so-called＂quality of holy moral＂.The paper is an explication on this point of view.
