| Abstract: | Synthetic processes of para-aminophenol, such as para-nitrophenol method, phenol nitrosation method, phenol coupling method and nitrobenzene method, have been descrihed, and their advantage and disadvantage have been reviewed. It has been pointed out that catalytic hydrogenation of nitrobenzene and its organo-electrochemical reduction is a new technique which has a great future. |
