某类红粘土的基本特性与微观结构模型

摘    要:研究了某类典型红粘土的土质学特征、物理力学特性等 ,分析讨论了红粘土的高含水率、高孔隙比、高塑性等软粘土物理性指标与其具有较高承载力、低压缩性等较好工程力学性质的矛盾现象 ,提出了一种土体凝胶胶结结构模型 ,初步阐述了红粘土的这种矛盾现象的合理性。

Abstract:The fundamental behavior and physico mechanical property of a typical red clay are studied in this paper,and the contradictory phenomenon that the red clay(laterite) has the unfavorable physical parameters (high water content,high void ratio and high plasticity) as well as relatively good engineering properties such as comparatively high bearing capacity and low compressibility is analyzed and disscussed. Based on the previous test result, a kind of gel cementing structure model for soil mass is presented, and the rationality of the conflicting phenomenon mentioned above for red clay is preliminarily clarified.
