| Abstract: | The performance of lead-acid batteries used for Diesel-locomotive was analyzed and investigated to select an optimum paste formula improving the service life of the batteries. Results of experirnents carried onvarious additives showed that Teflon emulsion, silica gel, and acetyleneblack have a beneficial effect on the service life. |
