| 摘 要： | 教学改革是高校发展的动力，培养社会适用的高质量人才是教学改革的目标。本文从机械专业的应用型人才的定位分析，确定工程师的能力规格，强调工程设计能力的培养，提出设计能力的培养途径和具体的实施措施。教学实践表明：能力定位准确、教改措施得力、教学效果显著。
