Configuration and power consumption analysis of the hydraulic power source on construction machines

Through analysis, this article points out that how to handle the torque reserve, thrust reserve and speed reserve of the drill rig is the key for the improvement of the utilization ratio and reduction of designed head loss in the hydraulic system. In the design of hydraulic power source, the selection of the common circuit for maximum match between power and flow rate, or to use manual or automatic variable displacement pump to take advantage of slew pressure feedback, all these concepts are effective ways to increase the power utilization ratio and reduce designed head loss.
