该项目是为一对三十多岁的夫妇设计的住宅，建于日本我孙子市。甲方希望设计一个类似画廊的混凝土空间，可以使他们设计家具的乐趣凸显出来。建筑位于两块台地之间的最低处，地基土质松软，因此，必须采用一定数量的桩柱来支撑整个钢筋混凝土结构。为了节约成本，建筑与地面的接触面积被缩减到最小，同时减少了桩柱的数量。
