The unique characteristic of this site is its northern slope. From the street level, an elevation change of more than two stories needs to be bridged in order to reach the garden level. The building responds to this situation with its complex geometry： it follows the slope, yet still permits harmonious integration into the villa community in this high-end residentia neighbourhood in Munich. Due to the slope situation and tall retaining walls, the street facade appears relatively hermetic. The entrance can be accessed via an open flight of stairs.
