| Abstract: | The paper describes in detali the demolishing work undertaken by Southern Blasting Technique Corporation in which directional blasting technique is successfully used to pull down a 500 - ton reinforced concrete framed water tower of Jiangxi Jiujiang Refinery , one of the largest of its kind in China . The blasting design as well as the operation is worth referring to in other similar engineering project . |
