间接ECAD方法可行性的试验研究

摘    要:等通道转角挤压(ECAE,Equal Channel Angular Extrusion)是一种强塑性变形(Severe Plastic Deformation)加工技术,可细化合金组织,改善材料性能。针对传统的等通道转角挤压法难以对过长的材料进行加工的缺点,基于新近提出的间接ECAD方法的理念,设计出模具并进行试验。结果表明,间接(In—Direct)ECAD能够对试样进行剪切变形处理,并对处理试样长度没有限制,该方法是可行的。

Abstract:It is known that ECA Extrusion method, which was invented by Segal,is proved to be an effective way to attain bulk ultra-fine grain materials by simple shear. In recent years, intensive studies have been performed on this method, so some rules, as well as some drawbacks, of the method are discovered. Among those disadvantages, the length limitation of the processing material is the most vital one which makes ECAE method difficult for industrial application. Therefore many improved methods were put forward to solve this problem. Recently,In-Direct ECAD method was proposed theoretically. It is said to be capable of processing materials without length limitation. In this research, an experiment is carried out by a special designed die, through which the In-Direct ECAD method can be taken into reality. The result shows that this method is feasible to introduce simple shear to the billet without length limitation.
