Impact of Short Lane on Signalized Intersection Capacity

Studied under different traffic and road geometry conditions,the impact of the short lane on capacity in the intersection can be regarded to improve the intersection capacity calculation theory system and provide theory basis for engineering design.The relative research background and the correction of intersection capacity controlled by signal were introduced in this paper.In conclusion,we would analyze the impact of the short lane on capacity in the intersection on the basis of short lane length,effective green time,segment and flow rate model,and traffic flow model.
