Research on the Application of Traditional Cultural Elements in Modern Packaging Design

This paper aims to explore the application of traditional cultural elements in packaging design.Based on the unique artistry of traditional culture,combining Chinese characters,calligraphy,ink painting,traditional pattern and paper-cut art in traditional culture,this paper analyzes the significance of integrating traditional cultural elements into modern packaging design,and puts forward the specific application methods of traditional cultural elements in packaging design.Finally the author concludes that the application of traditional culture elements in the field of packaging design enriches the modern packaging design in cultural connotation and forms,endows packaging design with a strong national style and traditional styles,it also helps to realize the innovative development of the traditional culture,based on the promotional sales,which is the combination point of national culture with the time and also a new way to carry forward traditional culture.
