| Abstract: | Two measures was adopted to obtain D-type graphite cast iron including casting in water-cooled permanent mould and adding alloying elements to increase supercooling tendency of the molten iron. This sort of cast iron was used to produce the cylinder block of air-conditioner. As a result, the microstructure and properties requirements were fulifilled. |
