| Abstract: | The paper describes results of acoustic velocity measurement in soft rock around the roadway. The inhomogeneous plastic state, loose state of soft rock is analyzed by using Mohr criterion in the form of quadratic parabola of variable parameters. The rules of intensity parameter variation are described by the results of acoustic velocity measurement.
Theoretical analysis shows vhat big deformation takes place when the rock begins to crack and just before the rock loses its carrying capacity. The calculations are in agreement with the practical example. |
