| Abstract: | The main types, fabrication technologies, and physical characteristics of photonic molecules are reviewed. The spectra and spatial configurations of molecular eigenmodes are analyzed within the tight-binding model. Experimental methods for studying the properties of photonic molecules and controlling their states with the use of various external devices are described in detail. |
