以文化视角探讨赴美留学人员应具备跨文化交际能力

随着中国经济的飞跃发展,越来越多的中国人赴美留学。然而由于两国文化背景的巨大差异,中美两国学生在课堂上的学习方式和行为表现各不相同。以跨文化的视角从认知方式、交流方式和学习动机等几个方面,对中美学生的课堂表现和学习风格加以比较和分析,指出有志于留学的中国学子了解文化差异,理解中美学生学习行为差异,培养跨文化交际的意识和能力的必要性和重要性,有助于他们尽快融入于美国文化氛围中,取得事半功倍的效果。

Analysis of the cross-culture communication of Chinese students in USA from the perspective of culture

With the fast development of Chinese economy,more and more Chinese can afford to study in the United States,broadening their international visions.However because of the big difference between the Chinese and American cultures,the Chinese and Americans greatly differ in ways of communication and learning.This paper attempts to make contrast and analysis of the their different behaviors and performances in the classroom learning from the cross-cultural perspectives,and arrives at a conclusion that it is fundamental for Chinese students to possess some basic knowledge about American learning behaviors,specifically their ways of doing in classroom learning before going abroad,so as to be quickly immersed in their culture,accomplishing good results within short time.
