Abstract:The multi-electrode resistivity method integrates electrical sounding and electrical profile devices,thus has the characteristics of large amount of collected data,high efficiency,low cost,rich inversion information,and easy interpretation.It is a kind of mature and reliable geophysical prospecting method for detecting hidden dangers of dams.Through the analysis of the application results of the multi-electrode resistivity method for the leakage detection of the dam body and dam foundation of Jilin reservoir No.2 in Xinjiang,it is inferred that the four vertical strips of low resistance anomalies on the CX1 line are the reflection of the water-filled leakage channel of the dam foundation.After excavation position with low resistance and grouting process to the low resistance zone,the hidden danger of leakage is eliminated,which verifies the effectiveness of the multi-electrode resistivity method in detecting leakage passages in the dam.
